INTRAUTERINE INSEMINATION (IUI)
IUI is a simple, noninvasive & cost-effective treatment offered as first line option to many sub fertile patients. It involves placing processed sperms (husband or donor) directly inside a woman's uterus using IUI catheter. It aims to increase the number of sperms that reaches the fallopian tube for fertilization there by increasing the chance of conception. It is a OPD procedure done without anesthesia.
Common Indication : Oligospermia, Azoospermia, Sexual dysfunction, unexplained infertility, Ovulatory dysfunction. Pregnancy rate per cycle - 12 to 15%.
